In what appears to be a classic case of terminal tone deafness, the Democratic Virginia assemblywoman who is proposing an up-to-birth abortion bill actually praised her parents on Twitter for saving her from death in communist Vietnam as a baby.
In 1979, my parents & I fled Vietnam as boat refugees, Del. Kathy Tran said in the Tweet that she originally made on Dec. 13, 2018.
My dad was a dentist in the South Vietnamese Army & went to reeducation prison, she said. Upon his release, my parents took me, not yet seven months old, onto the open sea. They risked our lives for hope, opportunity & freedom.

Were it not for double standards, Democrats would have no standards at all.
It used to be a bit of a joke.
No longer.
Yeah? And she learned squat from that.
Infanticide is now one of the platform planks of the demon party. And the media is just fine with that.
Democrats sold her country down the river.
Her family risked all to get away from Communism in Southeast Asia & she turned into a Nazi child butcher in the US.
She should resign & hang her head in shame. But that would require a conscience.
And Democrats were responsible for untold millions of her Countrymen/women being murdered.
I am very disturbed by one thing in this story unrelated to abortion. The statement that Vietnamese wjo arrive before diplomatic relations with Communist Vietnam are now subject to deportation. If true, that is despicable.
You cannot make this stuff up, verrry Rich find.
How could that woman be a democrat when they did this;
Not dare refer to the most costly and disgraceful results from a shutdown that happened during Nixons presidency. Caused by the democrats refusal to stand by the Vietnamese effort to remain independent by refusing them air support and supplemental funding of arm supplies which would have prevented that loss and that humiliating disgraceful evacuation of our Saigon embassy.
Which quickly then resulted in a multitude of Vietnamese being slaughtered and the sacrifices of thousands of our armed forces paying with their 58,000 lives assisting them in their fight for freedom dishonored..
