I agree with all that. I was simply tweaking at one point there.
We agree that things are going South in many ways, and there’s only a question of how we deal with it.
I can’t say I’m right or you are wrong.
Sometimes I agree to a point, but then I realize I can’t in total. We’re not that far apart.

I can’t, in good conscience, call them democrats anymore. My parents were democrats, when it meant something, to be a democrat. I was a democrat, until Jimmy Carter turned me around. Now, they are communists. I saw someone say, JFK would not be welcome in today’s democrat party. I agree with that.
JFK wasn’t the type of Leftist the Democrats are today.
In his day though, he was not what you and I would think of as a Conservative.
In some things yes, but in others no.
He was a womanizing narcissist. One of his lovers was an East Germany spy. I believe to this day that when he met Bill Clinton, it may have influenced Bill to be a womanizing man himself.
I think his challenge to put a man on the moon was important. It set a goal for the nation and one we were all proud of at realization.
What single goal do we have as a nation today?
In all seriousness, I can’t think of a one.
I know the day to day stuff like a wall is important, but what breaking ground are we pursuing?
It’s indeffinite when we’ll get back to space. Any plans for the Moon or Mars are on hold.
China is now landing on the Moon and running tests.

No, the Democrat party isn’t the same as it was. Remember though, the Democrats fought McCarthy tooth and nail. Part of the reason they hated Nixon was that he was involved in the McCarthy efforts.
What we have today, is a direct result of the efforts of the Democrats of old. They laid plans and worked on them for 70 years.
Tell me, could you watch us try to root out Communists, and watch the Democrats fight against that, and then remain a Democrat?
The party has stunk for a long long long time.
We could have rooted them out long ago if it weren't for the two-faced bastards on our side actually validating their contrived, byzantine excuses for eroding civic virtue.

JFK by today’s standards for the Democrats, was better.
His dad developed his fortune from running liquor in from Canada during prohibition.
He spread money around to help his son get elected.
I don’t think I’m transferring credit when it was for another person than JFK, but his dad arranged for a person to enter the ballot in his first run for public office. The name of the person was identical to the actual politician on the ballot. This split the vote for the valid guy with the fake, and provided John his first victory.
Then when it came time for the presidential election years later, dad contacted Daily in Chicago, and I believe one other large city in the South, that delivered on election day. Nixon knew of the irregularities, but declined to contest the election due to the havoc it would cause in the general populace.

I agree. It was a wedge issue trying to peal off illogical women who couldn’t see what they were being used for.
