The only thing left for young parents is to move out of NJ...

This may come as a great surprise to you, but NJ has perhaps the BEST homeschooling laws in the USA. In short, all you NEED to do is inform your district you are HSing, and that is so they don't get you for truancy violations. There is no curriculum check, no mandatory testing, no meddling bureaucrat saying Johnny or Mary need to learn about this or that...nada, zip, zilch.

Now, NJ has bad gun laws and there are other issues (pro-abortion zealots, RINO rampancy, love of Springsteen and Eli Manning). But you have to pick your poison. Further, NJ has some of the best diners on the planet.

As I've said before, there are a meaningfully large number of Deplorables in NJ. They are good, decent people and I would argue that BECAUSE they are denied liberty often they have a deep love and appreciation for things others take for granted.

Finally, I'd suggest that many HSers in NJ already learn LGBT things but on their parents terms. Indeed, there is a great deal to be learned from the life of Freddie Mercury or going to see Judas Priest live. Or, the parent can be silent on the topic. Given how onerous other "free" states' HSing laws can be, it *may*be that NJ is the place to stay.

Even better, if you've never sent your children to school here, then you're not required to inform anyone.

But, truth be told, NJ would be the worst in HSing laws IF NOT for all the times we protested against any anti-HSing bill that was brought up.

That's why this state is still the best place for HSing. The support groups and co-ops have always been well-organized here, too. Our students have many options and a lot of freedom.

And this state is filled with some beautiful places.

It's a shame what Murphy and the Dems are doing to it. In addition to this latest news, they also passed a law letting people change their sex on their birth certificates. And now they've passed a $15 min. wage law. So, even if Murphy turns out to be a one-term governor, he's leaving a mess that probably will never be undone.

How long do you think before they start strictly governing the HS curriculum and force people teach the LBQTXYZ crap to their kids? The insanity is accelerating all over the country.
