I have friends who are gay and black.
Many years ago I had a friend who was, uhmmm, black and bisexual. Hilariously quick witted and we use to chase chicks together. Or if he couldn’t hookup with some girl in tight blue Jean’s, I guess he found some dude...gross...
Super nice guy. Went to work for the FBI.
Currently work with this tall good looking guy , who has a voice for radio. I mostly hate him because he is good looking and sounds like Billy Dee Williams or “Lando Calrissian” from Star Wars.
Thought maybe he would be cool to hang out with it. Turns out he is gay and has been with someone for years and is a stay at home kind of guy.
Oh, and he’s gay.
He’s been working for us for a year and I just found he is gay...
The point is, and I have lots of friends who gay, I dont think of them as “gay”.
They are human beings, who were created by God, come from good parents, are interesting and funny. Very intelligent as well, and we dont agree on one thing politically.
I never think of them as gay however
They have first names and we share similar humor.

The story is already falling apart like aged beef, but it seems to be a grass roots thing. Much like Dan Rather’s debacle, the truth has to be dragged out by the plebes while law enforcement plays “You’re such a good boy,” from Twilight Zone.

The problem is that we live in a “make me care” world.
Someone is Gay, knock yourself out. Don’t care, just don’t force someone else to care and attack them if they don’t agree with the Lifestyle.
Smottlett says he was recognized and targeted for anti-gay hate by Trump supporters talking about MAGA. So they didn't go after him because he was black, but rather because he was gay. So it was an anti-gay hate crime.
A key is that they recognized him and thus somehow further knew that he was gay. Because otherwise how could they? But is it credible that supposed racists (to the left MAGA = racist) watch a black soap opera some have called "Black Dynasty"? Is it playing in the lobby at Klan meetings? No, that makes no sense to me. Outside that show, this guy was a total unknown.
So to beleive this happened, you have to beleive it was an overt hate crime with racial and anti-gay themes. To believe that, you have to believe that racist thugs are fans of black soap operas and follow the gossip around the actors on the show. And in the middle of the night they were able to spot this guy, knew him because he's on their favorite show, and said "let's get him. Luckily for them, they just happened to have rope on them and all that too.
You know what? It's just easier to believe he made it all up.
