I remember a scene from the movie MINSTREL MAN in which a black man in white face walks through a crowd of rowdy whites and declares “I AM THE ONLY WHITE MAN HERE, because the rest of you are all REDNECKS!”
Next morning he was stretching a rope.
Yeah, not a wise idea.
Don’t get me wrong, as I don’t support that sort of thing or even come close, but as an individual you have to use good sense. There’s not always someone around to get you out of the hot water you got yourself into.
And no, I don’t think he deserved it.
