You know what a common cover for intelligence operative is?
Journalist.
You know what Khashoggi was? He was an operative for the Muslim Brotherhood that the WaPost gave cover to.
Was what the Saudis did reprehensible? Sure.
Was it out of line with what goes on all the time in the Middle East? Not a bit.
I’ve talked with a journalist who barely got out of Turkey with his life and his family as Erdogan consolidated power, for instance. Many did not.
It’s not something that should greatly change how we deal with the Saudis.
Look at the incredibly high (and persistent) percentage of negative coverage of Donald Trump by the Washington Post and their fellow travellers in the left wing media. Their bias is simply undeniable. Their selective coverage of facts and their manipulation of reported events to “shape” the news to fit their ideology and influence their readership is a clear and present danger to our democracy.
If the urinalists really believe they in danger, they should try the TRUTH for a change.

Most, or all, of the victim ‘journalists’ died or disappeared before Trump even started running for president, and Khashoggi was a victim of a hit-job authored by a foreign country.
So, how is the Washington Post and Hanks going to justify running an ad with a message which will be 100% ignored by the true evil people around the world? In fact, one could argue that, it’s the permissive attitude of journalists and liberal publications like the Washington Post which encourage the anti-journalist actions around the world.
