I suppose that this is true if you don't count those minor "weather" events called ice ages which last around 100,000 years and interglacial periods like the one we are currently experiencing the tail end of. I guess that they are not counting the Pleistocene ice age that had half a mile of ice ago covering the place where I currently reside just 12,000 years ago. Where do they find these “scientists”?

These are the scientists who are not only too lazy to read the scientific literature they’re even too lazy to read the “popular” science literature!
