She is apologizing to the Cherokee, but not to everyone else. Her lie damaged many more than just members of the Cherokee Nation.
She is still a grandstanding, cheap publicity, political whore.

She claimed to be Indian for preferential hiring and “affirmative action” purposes. She is taking the place of authentic American Indians. This is every bit as offensive as say, wearing blackface or a KKK uniform, correct? Isn’t it “cultural appropriation”?

I feel an apology should be excepted but that does not absolve the person it just means you move on. but now when anything about race is said she has to realize that bringing it up is totally fair to those she is engaging political discussion with.
