“Gunmaker PARA USA has called for an industry boycott of movies starring the actor after he criticized U.S. gun policy during a press tour for his latest film.
In a statement posted on its Facebook page Saturday, PARA said it “regrets” providing firearms for the action blockbuster “Taken 3” and won’t provide guns for any more of Neeson’s films. He plays retired CIA agent Bryan Mills in the “Taken” franchise, which has so far has grossed more than $750 million worldwide.
Neeson criticized gun culture — and the high levels of ownership in the U.S. — in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo killings in France, while on a press tour in Dubai last week.
“There’s too many f—ing guns out there,” he told Dubai-based Gulf News.”

Neeson proves once again that movie stars are a stupid lot. Knowing the PC times in which we live, why would he have ever thought it was wise to say what he said? We all have those moments when we're about to say something, and that little voice in our head tells us not to. Where was that small voice that should have told him to STFU?
And I do not agree at all with what he said. I had a friend who was raped and murdered in her own home by a black man. I was robbed at gunpoint by a black gang in a place of business once in which we all had to lie face down on the floor. Those events did not make me want to provoke an attack from a black person so that I could kill one. It did make me bold about acting on my suspicions. If I am walking along and see a few yutes/teens approaching, I will cross the street or go into a nearby business, or just leave the area. And I always carry concealed.
