It's great that members of Congress have located specific legislative language permitting the president to build a border wall, but I'm wondering: Has anybody read the Constitution?
It says:
"The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States."
"(The president) shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed."
With millions of foreigners illegally pouring across our border, it sure looks like the laws are not being "faithfully executed." I wonder if the COMMANDER IN CHIEF has any authority to stop it.
The Constitution was expressly designed to make it difficult to do what our military does all the time -- fight wars around the globe -- and easy to do what our military never does -- defend our own country.
Congress was given power to "declare war," but not to "make war," for the precise purpose of stalling the march to war. It was a selling point that the legislative branch takes forever to do anything.
But we had a country to protect, so the Constitution gave the energetic, fast-moving president the authority to deploy the military defensively.

This menopause crap is getting old. Coulter was like this back in the Harriet Myers day if anyone cares to remember. I remember: she was completely off her rocker. For some reason, she thinks that being off her rocker with Trump is going to get her bookings and book contracts. Who knows - maybe it will.
She does make some good points. I have no problem with what she is saying. I can like both her and Pres. Trump at the same time, can’t I?

I’m embarrassed that I bought the Kindle version of her Trump book. I gave it up halfway through. It was the only book of hers that I ever bought since I’ve never been a fan since maybe 1980 or 1979, lol.
And why is she dressing in the same way she did 25 years ago? She’s stuck in time; it’s never good for a woman to keep dressing and wearing a hair style that is 30 years old. I wonder what it means.
There was a time on FR when any negative comment about Coulter was met with an unhinged attack. I once said she looked like she could use a cheeseburger. One would have thought I had insulted Christ.
Lefties will NEVER buy her books, will only applaud her when she is on with Maher, and she has manage to alienate the vast majority of her once book buying public long ago, or right now, with this latest insanity.
