Breaking the tradition of declining viewership that usually afflicts Presidents this deep into their terms, the embattled ex-Celebrity Apprentice host snared an audience of 46.8 million.
Airing on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Telemundo, Univision, PBS, CNN, CNNe, FOX Business, FOX News Channel and MSNBC in the 9 – 10 PM ET slot, the third longest SOTU in history topped Trump’s first official address to Congress in 2018 by over 1 million viewers.
In a number that will also be important to the 45th POTUS, the address before the now Democrats’ dominated House of Representatives, the Senate and invited guests also beat Barack Obama’s second SOTU of January 25, 2011 by over 9%. That speech by the 44th POTUS was shown on the 11 outlets of ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Telemundo, Univision, CNN, Centric, CNBC, FOXNC, and MSNBC
You can add 1 more to that 46.8 million. I watched it via whitehouse.gov which I noticed wasn’t listed, so I assume it wasn’t counted.
PDJT didn’t use as many personal pronouns as PBHO.
It was a good speech. This is the first one I can ever remember actually listening to the whole thing.

Independent approval was 82% and even democrat approval was 30%. Those numbers really have to hurt the dems.

Votes that were not counted were those from C-Span and about a zillion “Live Feeds” across the world especially in the USA, Canada, Mexico & Europe where viewership was strong. Total estimates range from 50-60 million viewers worldwide....who knows?
Whatever the final number of viewers was...there is no doubt that Trump knocked a grand slam home run, Tuesday evening.
It ain’t over till the fat lady sings...but this Democrat, Stacey “FAT LADY’s SONG” Abrams tune did not go down well at all...no one watched but a few nutcase Democrats & Elizabeth Warren, the now failed Democrat, POTUS Candidate. Shucks she quit before she announced her running for POTUS...what a “sad sack” woman.
But...don’t fret, Liz, many other delusional Democrats will follow in your footsteps: Biden, Clinton, Harris, Booker, Gillibrand, Brown, Castro, O,Rourke, etc.
Trump knew exactly that would happen by Botox Nancy delaying SOTU. Which is why he did not attack her on Twitter about the postponement.

I watched it on OAN - they may have misunderestimated the numbers....
