A new beginning in the fight for gun safety!!! For the first time in over 8 years, our House Of Representatives is holding hearings. Forget what we did not hear last night, it begins this morning.
From the website Heavy.com, Jessica McBride described him as “one of the strongest voices for changes to gun laws in the wake of the mass shooting.” He’s also a committee member for Ban Assault Weapons NOW.
Those are the people driving an initiative petition to amend the Florida constitution to outlaw semi-automatic rifles.
The small beachhead that the gun-grabbers have established in Florida Government is growing. Guttenberg has now been selected by newly-elected Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried to be part of her transitional team. Fried’s office is responsible for issuing concealed carry licenses in the Sunshine State.

The gaps were too big for their fraud to overcome Scott and DeSantis. But this race for Ag Sec was close enough. And that’s the one the gun-grabbers were really targeting because it oversees the background checks.

I think the bill needs tweaking, but if passed it would remove CCW permitting from this anti-gun lunatic.
I don’t necessarily like moving it to the FLDLE as there isn’t an elected official overseeing the process who is accountable directly to the people.
In Colorado its the County Sheriff, who is elected.
That might be the solution. Decentralize it and move it to county sheriffs.
Unfortunately this guy was assigned to the job by the Ag Sec Nikki Fried, the ONLY Dem elected to the Executive branch in FL. It’s Fried that should be dumped, but that’s not possible until her term is over. I have some trust that De Santis will never sign any legislation that limits FL gun rights. I hope. (Gov Scott caved to the shriekers after the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas shooting, so anything is possible.)
So, can the House, senate, and FLGov enact new job duty descriptions for tge Fl AG secretary? Just take that position out of the picture.

There has been an anti-gun group in Fla for years. Back in the early 1980s they had hopes of banning handguns in Fla. By 1986 they made a grab for the rifles.
That’s my point. The media and politicians do not know what they’re talking about.
Yeah but they quit when I got there in ‘87. LOL! Now that I’ve been gone from FL for 8 years they feel safe starting up again. Good Luck FloRidians. Now I gotta work on the NV legislators.
