Democrats launched a sweeping plan Thursday to transform the U.S. economy to combat climate change and create thousands of jobs in renewable energy, signaling its likely elevation as a central campaign issue in 2020 despite President Donald Trump's failure to mention climate change in his State of the Union address.

With a whiff of presidential politics and a rock-star freshman in attendance, Democrats drew an unusually large crowd for the Green New Deal unveiling. The outdoor event was attended by more journalists and activists than lawmakers. It was a notable gathering for a proposal that is not a bill, but only guidance for any legislation on climate change Congress develops.
The measure is supported by at least six senators with their eyes on the White House: Cory Booker of New Jersey, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Kamala Harris of California, Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota.

but since the earth will be uninhabitable in 12 years, shouldn’t we spend all that green money on getting colonies of world minorities on the Moon and Mars?

It took about 20 graphs before the 5 headlined presidential supporters were named. I kept digging, deeper and deeper to see if they had the nerve to name them at all to spare their reputations.

All of these enemies of humanity need to spend the rest of their days in padded cells. They will happily kill us (for our own good, of course).

If they think she is getting the publicity, they have no better sense than to join with her... they all are flakes and have nothing to offer but power for themselves. They misread the public... the media and the dems believe THEY are the pulse of what runs this nation.
After all the Presidents we’ve had... Trump puts a new light on being real and presenting one’s self just like he is... transparency.. and it burns so many on the left! How dare he! But their fakery is so evident when seeing the real thing.
It isn’t about the environment, really:

This is about race-based wealth redistribution (see # 16), nothing less. Whites are being punished as though they are 20% of the population and just lost a war.
Keep your knowledge to yourself; it is the only means to a paycheck. Otherwise, “Whites need not apply”. I see on professional forums countless otherized tokens reaching out to qualified strangers asking them how to do the jobs they’ve been placed in based on race/gender - DON’T RESPOND.
I have sons and this is not a man’s world any more. Reach middle age and you are not wanted. Degrees and experience... neither mean anything in this environment. If you turn transgender, you can find a job... women are the ones getting theirs... and what used to be minorities.
Talk about division... it sure ain’t Trump... it’s their own stupidity and power ... and I cannot understand why anyone would give in to name calling or whatever they use to get what they want.
