But now that allegations of sexual misconduct and racial insensitivity threaten to take down Virginia's Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General, and even—horror of horrors—elevate a Republican to the governorship, the Dem thrill is gone.

CNN's New Day was surprisingly tough on the Dems this morning. Washington Post reporter Toluse Olorunnipa began by offering an unsparing assessment of the Dem predicament. Olorunnipa said that Democrats run "the risk of being seen as hypocrites" if they don't apply to Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax and Attorney General Mark Herring the same "zero tolerance" standard they applied to others. We shouldn’t have another.

It would be too easy to suggest that Hirono was flirting with McCarthyism in her brazen comments. She is actually flirting with medieval standards of justice, when those in power arbitrarily decided who was telling the truth and who was a traitor.

Uhem....as a proud INDEPENDENT, but very conservative Virginian, I can promise you those who were born/raised here are mostly conservative. The map shows it's the cities, like normal, where the liberal fools gather in masses (from OTHER states normally) and screw up the state's elections causing them to go for losers like our current governor, or Obama, etc. There were coal counties in the furtherst western areas that literally went over 80% for Trump. Ours I remember was at least in the upper 60% for Trump.
