I suspect the narrative the WP is trying to plant is someone in the government, likely President Trump, personally directed US intelligence personnel to target Trumps' political enemies.

Whatever.
Unsealing Seven of Nine’s divorce papers was absolutely necessary to put the Fraud in office....

I’d be fine with DJT using every lever of government against the likes of Jeff Bezos, not that it happened.

Trump’s fault!!
(btw, love seeing this fugly worm Bezos squirming because of his own self-made mess ...)

I’d like to know which intelligence agency works for President Trump. None of them is under his control.

Ah, live by the falsified FISA application, die by the falsified FISA application.
How about our triply redundant DOJ motto "equal justice under law," i.e. "justice"
To: yesthatjallen
Bezos’ paper regularly publishes things that have been unlawfully passed to it by rogue government agents, so if he himself is now the victim of this practice it is poetic justice.

Jeff, the lady with whom you had the affair, as well as your wife, were Trump plants.

If only Trump had that much control of the intelligence agencies. There are a long list of Leftists who could receive a little corrective attention. However, this is nothing but Bezos paranoia. Maybe he could allege that the Ruswsians had a hand in his thinking with the wrong head, as well.

Huh, you’d imagine they’d confirm that both phones weren’t hacked which leads them to believe some outside agency provided the texts... Yet oddly they assert only Bezos’ phone wasn’t hacked.
Though, honestly, I doubt their assertion. Tech companies LOVE to provide CEOs with custom designed phones as gifts; wouldn’t shock me in the slightest if a Chinese company provided Bezos with such a gift and then leaked the texts they skimmed from their back door in the OS.

De Becker's assertion that Bezos's phone was not hacked raises questions as to how staffers at the Enquirer obtained messages that were allegedly sent privately between Bezos and his rumored girlfriend

Sounds like a set up in the works here.
To: yesthatjallen
I think you are right.
More than likely what actually happened is that he has seriously annoyed someone in his own company who has decided to obtain revenge through salacious reporting. Hmmm.... who do we know of in Bezos organization who might have motive for such a thing as well as the power to carry it off??

So, Trump monitored Bezos phone. Then intercepted all of his text messages. The he sent them to the NE. Then the NE people blackmailed Bezos to stop reporting on their legal problems.
I can see where people with simple minds would make all those links.
