Many years ago, before the fall of the Soviet Union, I was reading a spy novel. In it Soviet Agents were trying to infiltrate into the U.S. via Mexico. One spy says to the other something like, “I know we aren’t as advanced as the U.S. but why are Mexican highways better than ours?”

That's the fairy-tale Russia wants you to believe. The reality is much different. You need to understand that Russia is the master of pys-ops, disinformation, and propaganda. Hell, they invented it.

I truly believe Russia faked the demise of the Soviet Union in order to regroup and get a leg up again.
