Quite probably.
Truth to tell, this #metoo crap has conflated all these "he did this to me >10 years ago" stories into one big mess IMHO. Although it does seem to be deflecting some of the "Trump sucks, resist, Resist, RESIST" bleating from the usual suspects in the Socialist Democratic party.
The goods old news and observer. Deja vu. Are we back in 2006?????
..when she reported the attack to a school administrator, received no assistance...
Get the checkbook out.
Fairfax worked for Edwards on his campaign. Any word from John???
More likely Fairfax will feel the wrath of the potbangers
Mr. Fairfax has chosen to attack his victim again, ...He revealed that Ms. Watson was the victim of a prior rape. That is true. Ms. Watson was raped by a basketball player during her sophomore year at Duke. She went to the Dean, who provided no help and discouraged her from pursuing the claim further. Ms. Watson also told friends, including Justin Fairfax. ...She left a campus party when he arrived, and he followed her out, Smith wrote in her statement. She turned and asked: Why did you do it? Mr. Fairfax answered: I knew that because of what happened to you last year, youd be too afraid to say anything. Mr. Fairfax actually used the prior rape of his friend against her when he chose to rape her in a premeditated way. ...The Sanford School of Public Policys Visitors Board at Duke University is asking Fairfax to step down from his role as a member of the board... Fairfax served on the board from 2008 to 2014 and returned in 2015... If both Fairfax and Northam resign, Attorney General Mark Herring would become governor. Herring has also admitted to wearing blackface in college. Republican Kirk Cox, speaker of the Virginia House, would become governor if all three resign.
This may be exhibit A in the ignorance and stupidity of Fairfax:
Fairfax denied Watsons allegation in a statement Friday, The Washington Post reported, saying it was demonstrably false. I have never forced myself on anyone ever.
Obviously, unless he's got cradle-to-present video of his life, it ISN'T demonstrable -- or as the meme goes, "I do not think you know what that word means."
The key to this story is this. Fairfax. In denying this second incident, told the public the girl had accused a duke player of rape.
He used her story told to him jn college of being raped, as part of his defense, showing that he does not believe women.
I dont know how he #metoo movement acceprts this.
Bump!
I think it meant she has a prior history of claim on rape not that he did not believe her.
I think it meant she has a prior history of claim on rape not that he did not believe her.
Is she listed on Yellow book under Sl*uts?
The National Enquirer is more reliable than the commie press, which is why the commie press is hell bent on destroying them
Investigate fast cuz he’ll be gone by next week.
Or was it a Duke at a Basketball Game.
The Dean explained that since she had clearly not gotten the memo that sexual advances by members of the Duke Basketball Team could not be refused, she could not expect support from the Administration.
What is the likelihood of being raped twice within 2 years and staying in to graduate from that college. Would you have your daughter stay or transfer?? Mine would have been removed after the first incident.
I need to invoke the 48 hr rule on this one.
God only knows what roads this story will travel before it ends
Why name Fairfax and not the basketball player?
People like you are the reason women never reported rape.
I wonder what your reaction would be if your mother, wife or daughter were raped? I hope you never find out.

She told the DEAN and her friends. How does that qualify as being "too afraid to say anything" ???????????
