But they are taking your rights to your property
What good is land that you can’t use it for anything?
But the local or county government will still collect the same amount of annual property taxes on it as well.
“However the town changes that zoning from 1 acre per house to 5 acres per house, now you can only build 6 homes on that land.”
—
So you move to another town with less restrictive zoning laws.
.
We know that, but the courts don’t see it that way. It’s up to the owner to prove they’ve suffered a financial loss, at least in my area.
You’re right about the taxes - those don’t go down, although the various ways one can use their property have been diminished.
No mention of gary willis in the article. Killed in MD during confiscation.
Court records kept closed to “privacy” as in family court for certain divorce records.
MD laws also allow cops to petition for the seizure.
Think about that - cop request in secret court to seize your guns.
Got tyranny?
I believe it! Confiscation will be used by gun hostile Departments to harrass gun owners. Getting guns back after they are taken will be rough.
“household members to seek court orders requiring people deemed threatening to temporarily surrender their guns,”
knives
baseball bats
Screwdrivers
Nail guns
drills
lamps
ashtrays
chainsaws
rocks
lighters
poison
pillows
etc....
>Better inventory your firearms. Which ones have a paper trail and >which ones dont.
Almost all of my 37 firearms do not have a paper trail but under the law are still legal.
>So someone should mug Cortez? :)
Replace mug with a more harsh action.
The movement got a big boost after mass shootings committed by people who were legally allowed to purchase weapons despite everyone who knew them claiming, "He was crazy and never should have been allowed to own guns! We all knew something like this would happen!"
"Red flag" laws were only a matter of time.
Wait. Lawmakers are spending their sessions watching "Minority Report" again?
“So you move to another town with less restrictive zoning laws.”
wow.
