No, not alarmist at all. I escaped Mexifornia, the invasion is almost complete there. I don’t know how long but I moved to will remain like the US. :(

Most will nor bring much wealth or employable skills. Most will end up on food stamps and medicaid and supplemental social security and 1000 other welfare programs.
Instead give us 100,000 H1-B TEMPORARY visa workers in 2019, who will all be employed, pay federal income tax and state income tax, and all sales taxes, utility taxes, property tax via rent to their landlord, gasoline tax, and will require no welfare or food stamps paid by the tax payers. And since these people cost less to the businesses employing them, those businesses make bigger profits and thus pay more federal taxes.
