Western European socialism is a complete hoax because it is all predicated on a lack of children; people accept higher taxes because most aren’t raising families, and those funds can be directed back towards the adults’ needs because they have few children to provide for as a nation.
Socialism is meeting stiffer opposition in the US because many childless American taxpayers can easily see that their tax revenues are steered directly towards foreign children here. Europeans can now plainly see that their money is now directed into the pockets of foreign invaders who hate them - and the ageing taxpayers want change now.
Sweden was a place where semi socialism semi worked. It almost worked because it was a homogeneous populace with a strong a work and value ethic. Then they put a pack of radical feminists in charge and started importing murdering savages. So that was that.
I agree with your first paragraph....haven’t thought of it in the way you spoke in your second paragraph..hummmm-mmmm.
Plus since WWII the cost for military and defense of Europe has been paid for by the US not Europe.
