EL PASO (CBSDFW.COM/AP) — Beto O’Rourke will lead a march through his hometown of El Paso, to protest a border wall at the same time President Donald Trump is holding a rally there to promote it.
O’Rourke is teaming with dozens of civic and human rights organizations for a Monday evening event he says will counter the spreading of “lies and a false narrative about the U.S.-Mexico border.”
Trump said in his State of the Union address that El Paso’s border walls helped it become one of the nation’s safest cities. O’Rourke and local leaders say Trump’s facts are wrong and walls are irrelevant.
The ex-congressman is still deciding on a presidential run. But treating the political world to 2020’s first dueling rallies may indicate O’Rourke is ready to join the race.

In all countries breaking up, like ours is, the military and police have to decide: I am with this dictator or the other dictator. Not both. In the U S so far they said “Jeez, I got a pension to look out for. Let somebody else get involved.”
In Oregon and CA recently they said their woman or pantywaist male chief of police or mayor said let the dainty Antifa creeps alone and don’t hurt them. Just watch with hands folded at the end of the block. Disgusting and infuriating. Where is the “enforcement” in law enforcement? We pay for protection. Conservatives rushed down the street and tried to get help but the cops did nothing. People were bleeding.
One thing the 60s left had right was saying that “Whose side are you on?” had to be faced courageously by all of us, including the cops.
If walls are irrelevant then let’s take it down and move it.
Throw him into the footing for the wall and bury him with big rock concrete.
