As the article says, there have been over 2,700 illegals arrested since October 1. If you look at Google Earth there is a barrier at the border at this location, but it ends east and west of the port of entry. Also, I understand that it is mainly a vehicle barrier and individuals can penetrate it. Further, just south of the border is Mexico route 2 where buses or trucks can easily drop off migrants.
