Reporter Allison Kaden of Television station WPIX posted the image on Twitter Sunday tagging Bloomingdales and questioning the department stores decision to sell the shirt with the phrase popularized by President Trump.
The post had been retweeted more than 1,000 times with nearly 3,000 favorites by Monday afternoon.
Bloomingdales responded to Kadens post Monday morning, apologizing and saying it would be working quickly to remove the shirt.
Bloomingdales' Tweet: "Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we apologize for any offense we may have caused. We take this feedback very seriously and are working quickly to remove this t-shirt. Again, thank you for taking the time to alert us."
The picture was taken of a display mannequin wearing the shirt at a Bloomingdale's in White Plains, N.Y.
I think it’s quite striking actually...
Yeah, they’re probably “removing it from their shelves” because it sold out in an hour.
“It further delegitimizes hard working journalists...”
Begs the question as to what initially delegitimized these ‘hard working journalists’? I would say running the DNC’s talking points unedited, but that’s just me.
That presstitute needs to get a life.
Do they have one that says “LEARN TO CODE”?
"Think of the journalists! Won't somebody PLEASE think of the journalists!!"
ROTF! Along with one that’s says...
Presstitution Doesn’t Pay!

Hey Allison. It’s a free country. That’s not your decision to make.
Back of shirt should say:
“I need to learn to code”
I’m glad they pulled it. It should have had a list of fake news agencies on the back.
What an asshat. By this logic anyone could find any news related merchandise as offensive.
Apparently it isn’t, and it is.
All it needs is the CNN logo. :)
I suppose Bloomies’ Do-It-Yourself Blackface Kits won’t be long for the shelves either.
Collectors Item!
Poor little propagandist got their little feelings hurt. There is a ton of fake news out there. For example, the Hill of trash spews fake news almost hourly.
“It further delegitimizes hard working journalists who bring REAL news to their communties.”
Fake.
Truth hurts and isn’t that mannequin just fabulous?
