Let’s consider this; $1.3 billion is $1.3 billion more than we have now and is $1.3 billion less that President Trump will have to find when he declares the emergency.

Bad idea. If Trump takes this bad deal then it will be widely seen as the Dems winning and owning Trump from here on out. Trump will not ever again get anything he wants as the Dems would just have to wait him out as they know that he would just eventually fold anyway.

So no, President Trump should not even consider signing this for more than the time it takes to VETO it.

Trump must take what he can, and simultaneously develop the means to sidetrack the democrats and proceed around them.
