My wife was a stay at home mom and we homeschooled. Kids are all gone and my work travel is heavier now. She loves when I’m gone. She can watch the tv she wants at night and blast Christian music throughout the house all day.
My husband is hooked on tv, watching many programs in which I have no interest. If I come into the living room, he usually says, “I’ll change it, if you want me to. What do you want to watch? He gets lonesome for me, I guess, but he still wants to be in front of the t.v.. But I’m not complaining; I waste an inordinate amount of time on the computer, writing out comments like this one. He has his foibles and I have mine. And we both need to get up and DO SOMETHING!
