Heck even the Detroit Lions won an NFL Championship in the 50s.
Blacks suffered a lot in the 50’s, mostly at the hands of Democrats but their illegitimacy rate was around 20%. Now it’s over 70%. Most of the children were born into a two parent household. They weren’t wholesale murdering each other every weekend either. The Democrats engineered the near total destruction of the black family and now they call themselves Progressives.
What I mean is that it is not really White Bread America anymore.
The demographics are changing and Trump and the GOP needs to adjust and adapt, QUICKLY.

IMHO as conservatives, we cannot nor should we try to compete in the arena of identiy/racial politics...
Conservatives should be working to educate and encourage ALL AMERICANS regardless of identity/race that strong families, a strong economy, and a good education lift all boats...Don’t we want all people to be the best they can be—regardless of their race or gender??
I may be older than you, but I grew up in a time when the goal was a color-blind society a blurring of the divide, we were a melting pot and we were all Americans...I would like to see us return to that time.

I was. There was a part of town named for the race with stores and businesses owned by other blacks. They created and nourished their own community. There were no ghetto rats and families were intact. And this was in the South, separate but equal.
