A shooting in Queens, New York on Tuesday reportedly left a police detective dead and a second officer injured.

A gunman opened fire on the officers who had arrived to the scene of a robbery, the New York Post reported, citing police sources. The suspect was reportedly also shot after police fired back and was apprehended.

The incident occurred at a T-Mobile location, according to a Fox 5 NY who tweeted a photo from the scene.

I was reading a police Twitter account. One person posted that it was an illegal with an existing warrant on them who shot and killed the policeman. I noticed, after searching many news outlet websites, that the race/nationality of the perp was never mentioned. That would be the NYC libtard way all right. They'd rather die than give Trump more fuel for the wall.

Someone explain, what is there to rob in a T-Mobile store? AFAIK there isn’t a ton of cash in those places, and most of the devices won’t work without being activated - which won’t happen to stolen devices. Maybe you can switch out a SIM but wouldn’t they be able to trace the device over the network as being stolen anyway?

What a tragedy but I am confused as to the motive.
