I have no idea what percentage of cloud users individuals makeup, rather than commercial enterprises. But for myself, hard drive space is cheap, so I trust my data with nobody but me.

I saw a Toshiba 2 terabyte USB 3 hard drive for $62. So why would an individual store their data on a Cloud Drive? Not to sound conspiratorial, but the tech giants have not demonstrated a great propensity for protecting your privacy. Nor has the federal government shown any reluctance to go after your data.

For $180 you could have 6 terabytes storage space on multiple high speed external drives. How many individuals do you know that need 6 terabytes of storage space?
