Now if Trump has learned anything from the Sicilians he met in the NYC construction business he would know how to use this opportunity. His Democratic enemies in California were heavily involved in this project. Trump should order an immediate forensic accounting audit of the $2.5 billion Federal “subsidy” given to this “project”. He’ll snare most of the Democratic Party leadership and put them in prison.

If by some miracle Republican John Cox was Elected instead of Newscum and he cancelled this White Elephant, the Liberals would be going ballistic and there would be riots in the streets.

I don’t know about Dianne Feinstein’s husband’s dealings, nothing would surprise me... but there is a fair enough degree of likelihood that Newsome will get to appoint her successor. She is 86 years old and just won another term. Does anyone think she can sit another 6 years in the Senate? And if she can make it to 92, Newsome will likely be in his 2nd term and could run for the seat himself; assuming she completes the term.
So he owes her no fealty at this point. He’s probably/possibly gonna replace her at some point.
In fact, being CA, I think he could even appoint himself to her seat (?)
