My only quarrel with that paragraph is the word "painted." It should be "outed." THAT is why Trump continues to rack up YUGE attendance totals at rallies and Boarding School-educated Mr. Cillizza is considered "one of the dumber and least respected of the political pundits" by President Trump.
Yes he outed them but imo mostly it was that he stood up to them. When in the debates HRC said “I am so glad people like you don’t make the laws in this country” and he replied “because you’d be in jail” he rocked her - and in a way outed her as a fool for setting up such an obvious slam dunk response. She is oblivious to anything in the real world, it’s been 100% politics for her since her days in college. Trump may be a billionaire elite but he had to work through the politics/laws/regulations that the elite set up and to which they are rarely themselves held to account.
The Left is absolutely crazy, and I think catnipman has a good point about the Green New Deal - as much as the ‘moderate’ left wants to run from it Trump can make it an albatross - they have tipped their hand, they told us what they really want to do to this country. Not just the GND but many other things, the Dem racists and rapists keep popping their heads up, the NY abortion law will rally many voters, and as I wrote above he will likely be deep into several international negotiations that the last 5 POTUS couldn’t collectively move as far as he may well do. He’ll have a strong case to make for re-election provided no surprises from here.
