I’ve been paying for nearly 20 years and just got a notice from Paypal that FR rejected/cancelled my monthy donation.

I received a similar message from PayPal regarding your monthly:
“Automatic payments from [name redacted] have failed 1 times. As a result, we will not try to process these payments again.”
I’ve received several of these messages from PayPal recently where they’ve cancelled monthlies after only 1 failure. This must be a change in their policy. They usually try again in 5 days and cancel only after several failed attempts.
