Cities were liveable in the 50’s. Downtowns were lively, and the place to be. Stopped being so sometime in the 60’s.
Suburbs suck, but you have to be there to get away from what cities have become.
We once had liveable communities. We don’t now. Cities are $hitholes, and survive only with money from the suburbs, disguised as “financial aid” or “loans.”
Advice to politicians: You created this situation by turning cities into places with zero net productivity. You created hellholes of non-working people who live off welfare that comes from the paychecks of the productive people.
