Fresh off a late-term abortion ‘victory,’ New York’s ruling Democrats are seeking to perpetuate their party’s culture of death by pursuing physician-assisted suicides, with Catholic leaders in the state poised to push back — hard.
“We stand on a precipice,” Kathleen Gallagher, director of pro-life activities for New York’s Catholic Conference, told conservatives in the state recently, according to the Albany Times-Union.
“We’re looking into a culture of death and our state is diving right down into that moral abyss.”
Dennis Poust, speaking for the state Catholic Conference led by Cardinal Timothy Dolan, told the New York Daily News that physician-assisted suicide “is not a Catholic issue.”

I imagine that in NY state, a lot of newborn babies will immediately opt for the assisted-suicide option. NY Democrats just seem intent on finding justifications for killing millions of humans.
People are escaping New York in droves before Cuomo kills them.

Yet how many times did these pro-life and Catholic groups in NY beg conservatives to vote for RINOs thinking that a real conservative was unelectable. How are you going to know if you never run as one?

Both the state GOP and the state conservative parties have long ago been coopted by patronage gifts.
Nonsense. Prelates may make hissy noises but you can be sure not a single “catholic” legislator will be excommunicated over any of this.
RINOs are they only republicans that are electable in NY.
Remember, Trump didn’t carry his own state. Hilary pretends to be from NY but is from Chicago with a big stopover in Arkansas.

Assisted suicide is far too mild for the current Democrat culture. They’re more likely to support euthanasia and “duty to die.”

Governor Cuomo is looking to save money for the state - perhaps he could make a similar speech!
It was obvious that this would be next. They just got the right to kill babies at any stage of development. They will soon be able to kill elderly Whites at any age.
The public is being forced to pay for abortion, euthanasia, aids treatment, and sex “change” operations, exactly as I predicted.
It’s not a long path from “right to die” to “duty to die.” After all, inconvenient pre-born children are already saddled with the possibility of having a “duty to die.”
Because all the Catholic cemeteries are full and there is no money for them in the death business.
