It’s a pretty good axiom that whatever changes the Democrats are in favor of should be a pretty good indication of what conservatives should be against.
Tactically, it’s a good move for us. I know more than one person who is genuinely conservative, as in loving the Constitution, who distrust drug warriors just as much as any gun grabber. With good reason. Anyone who thinks that cannabis should be an issue the federal government has anything to do with is merely a nanny-stater socialist who happens to also have some social conservative views.
