The House Foreign Affairs Committee is full of hardcore leftists like Brad Sherman and Ted Lieu, and chaired by Eliot Engel who began his tenure by saying he intended to eliminate a subcommittee on terrorism in favor of having one to investigate the President. If you watch the hearing from the beginning, you can see that the RATS loaded the room with Code Pink scum who were allowed to go right up to Elliott Abrams until Capitol Police finally got over to him before matters escalated.
Of course, none of this fazes the RINOs who made sure to piss away the Republican House majority and continue to undermine the Freedom Caucus and, of course, the President. They're just happy that people like Abrams get called bad names now instead of them.

“Through many presidential administrations and Congressional hearings, no matter the party, there has been a spirit of civility with executive branch witnesses who appear before Congressional committees, even when some of the questioning has been confrontational. That appears to have come to an end. Therefore, I am instructing all Executive branch political appointees that they are NOT to appear before any Congressional committees until such time as House leadership agrees to restore civility in the committee proceedings. This must also be accompanied by a public apology from Representative Ilhan Omar to Special Envoy Elliott Abrams for her recent vile mischaracterizations at his expense. That is all - the ball is now in Nancy Pelosi’s court.”
