Two years after taking the oath of office, President Trump has made 8,158 false or misleading claims, according to The Fact Checkers database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks every suspect statement uttered by the president.
That includes an astonishing 6,000-plus such claims in the presidents second year.
Put another way: The president averaged nearly 5.9 false or misleading claims a day in his first year in office. But he hit nearly 16.5 a day in his second year, almost triple the pace.
We started this project as part of our coverage of the presidents first 100 days, largely because we could not possibly keep up with the pace and volume of the presidents misstatements. Readers demanded we keep it going for the rest of Trumps presidency. Our interactive graphic, managed with the help of Leslie Shapiro of The Washington Post graphics department, displays a running list of every false or misleading statement made by Trump. You can also search for specific claims or obtain monthly or daily totals.
In the first 100 days, the president made 492 unsupported claims. He managed to top that number just in the first three weeks of 2019. In October, as he was barnstorming the country in advance of the midterm elections, he made more than 1,200 false or misleading claims.
Not surprisingly, the biggest source of misleading claims is immigration, with a tally that has grown with the addition of 300 immigration claims in the past three weeks, for a total of 1,433.

The Compost has made 875,684 false statements in the last two years including this piece of bovine excrement.
Bastards!! These people aren’t worthy to scrape the mud off Trump’s shoes. I wonder how many false or misleading statements Pelosi has made over the last two years???
In case nobody noticed, the media is engaged in an all out war against Trump and will be dishonest and corrupt at every level.
No bias here. I would not read the Post.
And what did the waPo say about the lies of Dorkbama the Muslim eunuch quota boy?
Crickets.
Sorry, losers, we don’t give a shi...er...Obama about what you write any more.
“What temperature is it now?”
Looking at thermometer. “30 degrees”.
Lie. It is actually 30.047 degrees.
(We know how the game is played.)
Like a stack of burgers a mile high? How dare he make such a falsehood!
Jerks.
The Washington Post made 8,158 false or misleading claims in just this one article!
“We are at war with Eurasia. We have always been at war with Eurasia.”
And how many lies have these treasonous sons-of-bitches told?
If there were any true justice in this country, the Washington Post, and its ilk, would be nothing but piles of smoldering ash.
Of course, at the rat we are speeding towards a second Civil war, that form of justice may soon come to pass.
They are too ignorant to take into account how resources that are being used to protect the border by border patrol agents, could be reallocated with a wall in place.
You can be sure that any, and I mean any article with two or more writers, is going to be full of dog shyte.
Can they deal with hyperbole? Is ‘I have a million ideas’ when I just have lots, a lie? Misleading? From the very beginning of Trump’s run, he’s clearly not a stickler for exact details. I like that. But it does run in the face of media and politicians on all sides who freak out over every minutia of detail. Reminds me of my doctor wife who sees things in exacting black and white terms—’Ah, you said 10 minutes, it is 11 and you are ALWAYS late. You lied.” Yeah, right. /s
They count every time Trump says “there was no Russia collusion” as another lie.
So that accounts for about 1000 of these “lies” they claim.
8,158?
Why not 851,999?
I mean, if you’re going to make stuff up, go for it.
If he would say something like, “...the wildfires in California have been burning for days....”, when, in fact, they were burning for weeks, then this would be judged to be false or misleading. If he repeated it a few times in a week or more, they would count it each time.
But, the MSM will likely tout this headline about his “lies”, with no analysis of the details.... They are getting nervous, since POTUS approval ratings seem to be improved of late.
In general, a port of entry (POE) is a place where one may lawfully enter a country. ... International airports are usually ports of entry, as are road and rail crossings on a land border. Seaports can be used as ports of entry only if a dedicated customs presence is posted there.

So is the Compost saying that the border checkpoints along our southern borders are not points of entry?
