Before getting into the details of this crazy omnibus bill, its important to recognize that we dont understand all the details. The worst provisions are written in vague language ensconced in an 1,169-page bill, which has already been posted online in two different versions (the first was 10 pages shorter). That is exactly why Democrats are salivating to vote on this within a few hours of passage, which is exactly why Trump has a responsibility to oppose it immediately and demand at least a short-term clean continuing resolution so that he can digest the consequences of this bill. If he cannot make that simple demand, which would not even trigger a phony shutdown, then his presidency is worthless.
The process is indefensible: It is immoral, from any ideological perspective, to vote on an 1,169-page omnibus with new provisions on immigration amid a border crisis. We are already four and a half months into this fiscal year and have been operating on stopgap bills. There is no rush to vote on something like this, which will fund seven departments for the remainder of the year, within a few hours when we should have another stopgap bill while we debate, and even discover, the contents of this long-term bill that makes important statutory changes. The only reason one would pursue this process is to hide things from the American people.

Why not put the 5 insane provisions in you post?
Looks like he couldn't fight city hall after all.

What are the 5 points?! I don’t have time, nor interest to read the details in hope of an answer. Not sure I want to know anyway as Trump said he’s going to sign it. Another fail from the never again president. Not happy. Figure the national emergency is DOA once it goes to a court. Trump gets a campaign topic, we get overrun by illegal aliens.
You can vote Democrat in 2020.
“The worst provisions are written in vague language...”
Meaning that there will be a slew of lawsuits to follow in friendly jurisdictions in order to get the progressives loopholes you could drive a bus through.
1) Less of a wall than even what Democrats already agreed to
2) Liberal local officials have veto power over wall
3) This bill contains a blatant amnesty for the worst cartel smugglers
4) More funding to manage and induce the invasion rather than to deter it
5) Doubling low-skilled workers
By 2024 it won’t MATTER how you vote.
TX will be ice blue.

The American half of the United States says “Hell No”.
But that won’t stop the Communist/Soros/Globalist half who control the media.
You think vetoing this bill will stop that?
You can vote Democrat in 2020.
He wont need to if immigration turns a couple more states blue. That may be Trumps sad legacy - along with a tax cut for businesses that ends in a few years
It people leaving CA that is doing it. And illegals can’t vote.
If nothing else, I would then be voting for people who told me right up front they intend to take everything I own and then dispose rid of me.

Gotta keep the cash rolling in for their champagnes ...
So why chastise someone for ‘you going to vote democrat?’
It won’t matter how any of us vote.
Trump is the last republican president ever.
But why pay the invaders who are literally taking us over by invasion to do so?
Illegal aliens can’t vote.
They can and do.
Their kiddos definitely do.
We need another continuing resolution to have time to review this legislation before it passes in the senate. We KNOW the Democrats are trying to sneak a lot of garbage into it.
If this get passed, we need to ask the president to use his Constitutional authority for a 10-day review of any bill sent to his desk. And then it can be vetted before becoming law.
Don’t use the Pelosi method of making law before finding out what’s in it.
