No one has been able to explain to me how she is going to be allowed to rule on cases where she was not present for oral arguments only by reading transcripts and briefs, yet Kavanaugh was not going to be allowed to rule on any cases he was not present for prior to being confirmed. Is it merely because he was not yet a Supreme Court Justice when those cases were heard (thus he is not allowed to opine), or is there a double standard being applied, or is he actually going to be allowed to rule on the handful of cases that were heard while the Democrats were smearing him?

How can she rule on cases without oral arguments being heard?

Simple. Justices vote purely on personal bias and prejudice. Arguments are window dressing and time wasters. RBG fell over asleep in her chair during some of them. More comfortable at home.
Usual procedure: Any decision that could help Trump means NO from each liberal.

Roberts will be reminded by a cell phone call that “we will bring everything about you to the media, remember? Vote like we tell you.”
