You know, a long time ago, I knew a guy who was a senior legislative staffer for a Republican congressman.
He told me that Democrats routinely build traps and poison pills into bills. Sometimes, for example, they’ll pretend to concede a legal point to Republicans, but then they’ll deliberately write the law in such an aggressive way that they know a liberal interest group will challenge it as unconstitutional and easily win, because it was written to be unconstitutional.
And thus, the “concession” granted by the Democrats disappears like morning mist, but the concessions granted by Republicans — usually about money — remain.
The Democrats win it all.

The Truth is Coulter has a vile, nasty mouth. That’s what I was commenting on, not any particulars of this or that bill. There’s no spin on commenting on her behavior. How don’t you understand that difference?
And I was commenting on the posted article, not your posted comment. However, but making the “vile nonsense coming out of her mouth” a subject of your sentence, you do open yourself up to being interpreted as you fear.
I don’t “fear”...whatever you mean by that, anything conservatives have to say about Trump. I was expressing my concern with another poster on the vitriol of Ann’s behavior concerning the president.
I consider constructive criticism coming from any conservative on Trump fair game. I don’t consider Ann’s personal attacks on Trump helpful, or particularly rational, as the president himself as stated.
