The perfect discription of diversity.
Dumb, dumber and dumbest is New York City’s motto and it lives up to that motto daily.
The school system isn’t the same in NYC as it was in the 50’s. Even the one the gave us Bernie, Ruthie and Chucky. It was a Public HS, that gave us many successful names. It too has changed, another local HS nearby died. In our world we have motivated learners and those who seek not to be educated beyond counting on their fingers and only go to school because it is required. Once they get into classes, they become disruptive and ruin it for those who wish to better themselves. Its impossible to fix stupid. The more we become less educated the quicker we will become another world s#!t hole. The reasoning behind our education system has always been the shotgun effect, out of one blast, a few pellets may hit the target. I didn’t get into Brooklyn Tech., my grades weren’t high enough, the same for Brooklyn College. However I still had enough motivation to go on. (Even with un-diagnosed ADD.) I wasn’t cut out to be a Rocket Scientist or a MD. I studied, took the regents exams and excelled in the tests but was just average in the classroom work. OH, lets add in, the parental push of the 50’s, it was the time of families who cared about their kids. Credit goes to the parents. Where are the parents of today? Do they no longer care? (r)

“Achievement”, like “responsibility”, is a dirty word now - only used by “ole school people”.
To attain equal outcomes, “achievement” must be scrapped.

It turns out that within the black community some groups have much higher IQs than others—that is how corporate liberals have been scamming the “diversity” game for decades.
Examples: Jamaicans and Ibo Nigerians who have emigrated to the US.
Just like everything else—some blacks are more equal than others.
Not a chance.
However, Thomas Sowell did a column on DC's Dunbar School. It was an academic black school that lost its reputation and ability to educate with the advent of the Brown v. BoE decision.
The school's pool of academically-inclined from all of DC shrank to the local 'hood, mostly disruptively-inclined "students", turning it into a just another black neighborhood school.
It's one example that tends toward the benefits of testing, which of course, does not outweigh the tyrannical benefits of producing non-educated sheep.
Diversity is irrelevant, does not matter.
Still have the Regents. Required now, but didn’t used to be. You could graduate without taking them, but a Regents diploma meant more. Now the tests are required and so watered down they are worthless.

Perfect diversity and none of them can read & can hardly write - except for the Asian kids.
MLK: Judge people by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. We have never been further away from that goal as we are right now where character matters not a wit and skin color along with other born traits are supreme concerns. BTW, the end result of this goal in NYC will be even more segregated schools as has happened everywhere governments have tried to force whites into situations they could find a way to avoid.
Passed the entrance exam and was invited to attend in 1958. I turned it down...BIG mistake.
Why evaluate failure?
When anyone uses the word “diversity” it means that they have no argument whatsoever.
Only liberal on race vocally; publicly (in terms of where they live, send their children to school, or hire) it is another matter. When people have to commit to 30 years of mortgage payments (360 monthly payments) which incorporate property taxes that are among the highest in the nation, they can’t risk everything to appear fashionably progressive.
I honestly believe one of the major deterrents to buying a home today (among many) is the fact that your area can be targeted for “urban population resettlement” - a very real phenomenon in the northeast as our cities AND states run out of money and municipalities are shanghaied into providing schools, emergency services, and government/Section 8 housing for people who contribute nothing but outstretched palms.
US citizens are supposed to know English.
