As I was just mentioning to someone on FReepmail - that Berta makes the show. Have to agree that there are some pretty raunchy segments but she’s a piece of work. Last night was one that had Charlie moaning and groaning because he was sick and “dying” on the couch. She came to work, hung up her coat and bag, took a look at him and asked what was wrong. He told her he was sick and she said, “OK then” and got her jacket and bag and walked out!
I like the brother and his son too - great lines what make me laugh out loud and there isn’t much on TV that can do that!

Berta is a 12. I have watch them so much I know the script and actions. Jakes facial expressions are great.
The fact that it is far away from PC, is what is great. P—sing off liberals make my day! Who doesn’t like f-rt jokes.
Occasionally I see something that doesn’t have Charlie Sheen and I don’t like it so I switch channels. I didn’t know until I looked up Berta today (who the actress is etc.) that they wrote him out of the show as having died?
One last night or the night before was Jake asking his dad if doctors were smart....that was hilarious. He is so darned serious - not cracking a smile when he says these things. “Like leading a blind man through a mine field?” I really got a big chuckle out of that episode. Priceless and Berta’s role in that whole conversation was fantastic - and she doesn’t show any expression either. Everyone gets in on the act which makes it so funny! Well, come to think of it - they’re all pretty serious when they deliver those lines.
She was so great, I think what I found said she was paid $125,000 or $150,000 per episode.
Don Lemon is not even worth listening to!
