Show is on 6-10 am not 9-noon. They run Financial Exchange 10-noon, VB in the middle noon to 3, Howie Carr 3-7
I immediately found I disliked VB when he started the WRKO morning show with “Kim.” Their most favorite and oft-used phrase as I recall was: “...I don’t know...” repeatedly, on most issues. Geez.... They really DIDN’T know much about every issue — “I don’t know...” and “We’ll see...”; a couple of uninteresting dummies. I gave them a few weeks, then quickly went to other (conservative) radio options.
I am so happy their dull morning show is now replaced with Jeff Kuhner, 6 to 10 am. Now, I patiently count the days until VB’s off local Boston radio entirely. He is a cringy try-hard, who as nothing practical or insightful to say, yet delights in the sound of his own voice. He apparently absorbed nothing from working for Howie Carr, and for some reason prides himself on being politically “different” on daily issues, but without articulating solid reasons for his deviations — he does it for as a cutesy factor, it seemed.
Within 6 months or less, I pray he will be gone. There is much new talent out there that deserves a chance at that weekly radio slot; he isn’t one of them.
At 12 noon, I listen to Kuhner, then tune into Rush Limbaugh (on a different station) and then back to Howie in the afternoons, detouring VB entirely. Go away, VD, VB, VT, whatever it is......
