I doubt that the people of Venezuela think that -- there are bound to be a few of course, there are absurdly stupid and bigoted people everywhere -- but all the big fist regimes of the 21st century are rooted in the big fist regimes of the 20th century, and all of them use or used the same line of bull when it comes to the Jews. Stalin waved buh-bye to Soviet Jewry, doing nothing as Hitler carried out the Holocaust during WWII, but late in his life Stalin, like his Czarists antecedents, ordered what amounted to a pogrom. Jewish doctors, really? By a weird coincidence, he had a medical crisis and died early in 1953. Obviously a problem with his health care plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, unless he's a Jew. Stalin's apologists are still around, of course, and that list includes Vlad the Imploder Putin.
