If Kamala Harris is the Dem candidate, I expect a lot of black women who sat out in 2016 will come to the polls. I’m not sure enough black men will vote Trump to overcome that.
Not when they hear about her Jamaican roots, specifically the slaveholder side of the family.
Suburban white women won’t get the tingles for a black female candidate like they would for Beto. That’s why he or somebody like him will be the nom and she won’t. Kampala and all the rest of the identity politics crowd are actually running for VP. A white male will be the top of the Dem ticket.
