A lot of FReepers are stuck in the past. Obama and Feinstein are total moderates by that party’s standards today.

This is true. Add Hillary Clinton as well. Social moderates and foreign policy neocons. Mostly, they just liked the perks of power. The party today is on the road to Khmer Rouge-styled leftism. They're fanatics. It's frightening to watch.
