There is a growing shortage of tradesmen due to the corrupt Universities trying to push for “4 years of college for all”. You can still make a lot of dough and not have a student loan debt. Many Jr Colleges have such training programs. You just have to be willing to get your hands dirty. Of course you would work with people who smoke and drink beer and vote for Trump. So maybe it’s not a good ides for millenials who can’t drive a stick shift.

My Grand daughter is training to become a plumber, $40 bucks an hour for Journey Men, in my area.

My son works for a cement company 30 bucks an hour plus benes.
He also works on the side as a diesel mechanic for 40 buck an hour on the side.

Plenty of money out there if you have the skills.
