One of three moves on H1B that I have been advocating. Killing H1B would be extremely difficult, but by changing the program we can effectively kill it.

1. Elimination of H4EAD. This means spouses cannot work, so by default, wages for H1B will have to rise. This allows US workers to be more competitive for the H1B jobs, and 100% of the jobs taken by spouses are moved back into the American workforce. DONE

2. No H1B Visa holder, or any member of their family is eligible for government benefits or assistance. This eliminates the desire of H1B's to bring cousins, uncles, aunts, etc with them. 100% of whomever they bring over, they have to support under a single income. Again, this increases the wage requirements of the H1B's, makes US citizen workers more competitive, and lowers the cost of benefits being paid by taxpayers.

3. Mandate that the minimum wage for an H1B Visa holder is $150,000/year. H1Bs are supposed to be high skill workers doing jobs that cannot be filled by US workers. However, I heard once that the average H1B gets about $60K/year. Therefore, establish a minimum wage on H1B, and companies will rapidly switch to US citizen workers.

Too bad you can’t post a fact filled, logical rebuttal. You know why? Everything in the post is accurate and true. Bush did grave harm to America.

The dumbass. He let in 850,000 moslems after 9/11, the same number as Obama. The chimp also let in 8 or 10 million Mexicans.

One of America’s worst presidents, and ex-presidents.

No more Bushes!

"Just Us" brother Jesse Jackson played his once-in-a-lifetime-chance-of-being-right card when he said "Stay out'da Bushes!"

The bitter irony is that George Bush’s political career was over after he lost the Republican nomination to Reagan in 1980. Reagan had a fiasco at the convention trying to make Gerald Ford his Vice President. He resurrected Bush’s career by naming him his VP running mate. Otherwise the nation would have been spared the Bush “dynasty”. Worse thing Reagan did. It planted the seeds for the destruction of much of his legacy.

George P. Bush is still lurking in Texas.

His being born a Mexican national because of his Mexican national mother is probably why the GOP went along with the Kenyanesian Usurpation.

If, the George W Bush Center Slams Trump H1B Change, the change will be good for Americans not the Deep State Elites like the Bushes/Clintoons.

I never liked a president more than his inauguration day. I never loved a president more than the early days of 9/11. I never despised a president more than the later days of 9/11 until this very day. THE GREATEST PRESIDENTIAL DISAPPOINTMENT OF ALL TIME IMO😪 ****************************************************** When Bush refused to name our ENEMY but instead said we were at war with Terrorism. That plus his proclamation that Islam was the “Religion of Peace” told us all we needed to know about him. His meekness as he went along with the Democrats mandating granting of mortgages to those who couldn’t even manage to pay their phone bills added to Bush’s inglorious legacy. What a friggin’ wasted 8 years; what a friggin’ poor excuse for a President.

Re: More Bush globaloney

And, with a large second helping of Trump baloney.

Trump talked about revoking this Obama Executive Order during the 2016 Presidential campaign.

For some reason, it took Trump (or Trump's DHS Secretary) 25 months to write a new Executive Order stopping H-1B spouse employment.

Trump's E.O. must now be reviewed by the Office of Management and Budget. OMB can approve it, or send it back to Trump or DHS for revision. OMB has no time limit to act.

Once a final E.O. is approved, it must have a 90 day period for public comment, then, a further waiting period to respond to public comments.

If this E.O. actually gets approved as written, it will take until 2020.

For some reason, which Republicans are helpless to explain, Obama could revoke old rules, or implement new rules, in a couple months, but it takes the GOP three freaking years to do the same thing, and in this case, we still don't know what will actually get approved, if anything at all!

President Trump is really smoking out the globalist cronies 24/7/365.

Then, the Trump Curse is making their seditious lives miserable 24/7.

If Bush supports leaving the H1B alone, that is all I need to know to be convinced that H1B is bad for the country...

No wonder the Bushites are so upset. President Trump's plan is a double whammy!

"Trump’s pending regulation reportedly would end the policy of giving bonus work permits to wives of foreign workers who have H-1B visas, and would, therefore, shift jobs and salaries from foreign temporary workers to American graduates."

Obama had the support of the media, the Democrats, the Republicans and, of course, Every.Other.Living.President, the stinking Bushes included. Trump, OTOH, has US & a handful of Rs, no one else.
