Chuckles. I don’t think you would need to go that far... a couple of quick jabs to his nose then a left hook or overhand right would have put that fool down for the count. There are many that can really hurt someone. Ruin them for life or kill outright with bare hands. Didn’t look warranted here. Besides, the guy that did this might just change his mind and redeem himself. We all need a second chance. A lot more chances in my case....
