Republicans will soon have to go on the record over whether they back President Trump's emergency declaration to secure more money for a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
House Democrats are plowing ahead with a Tuesday vote on a resolution sponsored by Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) that would terminate the emergency declaration.
With virtually unanimous support among Democrats, the measure is expected to easily pass in the House. In the upper chamber, Democrats need four Senate Republicans to secure the 51 votes needed to send the resolution to Trump's desk.

Boy do Dems love “terminating” things don’t they, its their favorite word. Well, either way Trump is vetoing it so they can have their fun
Maybe Nancy will have one of her Meltdowns and forget about it ,LOL
So there has been some debate about the text of the National Emergency Act. Does a majority vote in Congress (both chambers) automatically stop the emergency, or do they need a veto-proof majority?
This article seems to imply that POTUS needs to sign the bill to end the Emergency.
Sen Tillis of NC says he’ll vote against Trump- for the Resolution.
That makes 3, looks like the Open Borders lobby will get a majority in the Senate. Not enough to overrule, but it makes for bad PR.
Not for DJT, but for the rotten, stinking GOPe. Lord, I hope Donald puts these rats out of business (and I think he will)
The GOP need constant reminders that they will be slashing their own throats by siding with illegal aliens against the citizens and the rule of law.
Tillis is up in 2020 and needs to be taken down.
Bush League Republicans MUST become extinct.
They need veto-proof majority.
What I’ve read says they need a veto-proof majority.
Would the Dems impeach him for vetoing a resolution?
Democrats are the party of death. From their support of infantacide to protecting illegal alien murders. They should replace the donkey with a skull and crossbones.
Who are the three? Who is likely to be #4?
Yeah, quite a surprise.
Guess he’s not running. He sure won’t win without the votes of Trumpers.
Trump’s rating’s are high. Congress’s rating’s are low. Congress’s consensus seems to be it’s their job, but our consensus is they didn’t do their job.
The President is certainly doing his.
What!? Me worry!? Hardly.
There is no doubt the Resolution to nullify the emergency declaration will pass both houses of Congress. Although it will be interesting if the vote totals approach a veto proof majority, the Resolution will be a nothingberger as the real battle will be fought in the courts. At least we will see who stand with the President.
Not a surprise at all, he’s been a Cheap Labor Express stooge since he got to the Senate, same as Rubio and Graham.

Murk (who I thought was bought off), Collins (of course), and now Tillis.
I asume Lamar will be another since he isn’t running for reelection.
Looks like Mitch is allowing everyone to vote against it as long as they don’t overrule.
LOL. If you could only get all that on a bumper sticker.
But how can he win reelection without Trump voters?
What he wants for his donors is going to cost him too many voters IMO.
Unless he’s retiring to K Street.
His statement doesn’t even say WHY the ED is wrong, just a general statement that it takes Congress’ power.
