And this lady thanks you-apparently, a few centuries ago you became a pioneer of sorts by leaving a place where you wouldn’t obey the government-from all I’ve read and seen, Basques in Spain today don’t seem to have changed much in those centuries-they still rebel against government in Spain at any provocation...

Quite a generalization. In Texas or California some families of Mexican origin have been in this country for generations. Do they not fit in?
This racism versus assimilation thing is a false opposition. If Latinos have problems it's because so many of them are recent arrivals. And they don't speak English. Or they live in areas where the economy is bad. But plenty of those who've been here a while have assimilated and are assimilating.
Speaking Spanish is a bonus for whites/white Americans, because it's a second language.
I had an ID theft with my Sears CC a while back. I asked for info as to where the package went so I could file a police report. They wouldn’t give me the information to do so. What they did was refund my stolen $ to my CC and gave me free CC protection for 7 years.
I didn’t want the CC protection, I wanted to press charges against someone!
When I drive to Miami, I tune my radio through the AM dial. Miami is a foreign country!
